A concession will be available throughout the day. We've ordered a sunny day too! Early indications suggest that we may have teams coming from as far away as Winnipeg and Barrhead to test their mettle against Southern Alberta sluggers. The tournament will begin with devotions and registration at 8 a.m. If we have a high volume of team registration the tournament may begin on the Friday evening with local teams or out-of-town teams who are interested in playing on the Friday evening. We also hope to have a welcome bonfire on the Friday evening. This site will continue to be updated with information as we get closer to the tournment. Updated information will also be communicated to team captains via email.

Our cause
Coaldale Christian School has been providing Reformed Christian education since 1974 (http://www.coaldalechristianschool.com/). Through the grace of God, the school has enjoyed much growth over that period of time. Most recently, this growth has been demonstrated by the substantial building project taking place to add additional classrooms, a commercial kitchen, a new library, and a student lounge. One of the animating goals of CCS is to provide an education to students wherein all things are viewed through the lens of Scripture and students are encouraged to hold God's Word as a lamp for their feet and a guide for their path through life (Psalm 119: 105). Funds generated through this tournament will be used to support this important work. We will be targeting technological enhancements to support student learning such as having an intercom system in the school to promote communication amongst staff and students.

Please join us as we raise money to support educational enhancements at Coaldale Christian School and as we enjoy fellowship, fun, and softball! Everyone is encouraged to participate either by playing or cheering! To register a team, please contact Marie-Louise Bareman at ml.bareman@gmail.com. Teams must have a minimum of 2 girls (3-4 girls is encouraged) and must field 10 players (you can have more than 10 on your roster but can only field 10). The cost is $500.00 to register a team (but donations above that amount will be graciously received!) Registrations will be accepted until August 8, 2016. The tournament will take place at the "Quads" sports facility in Coaldale, Alberta.
